DAQWare Experiment Software Overview

DAQWareIt is the experimental measurement software developed by TLA for use as a companion to the TLA series of course lab kits. Functional enhancements have been made to the existing features of the multifunctional data acquisition card. Covers instruments needed for laboratory desktop applications, such as: oscilloscopes, function signal generators, sweep signal generators, programmable power supplies, voltmeters, baud plotters, dynamic signal analyzers, etc.

Based on the above ideas, the multifunctional data acquisition card combined with DAQWare experiment software can realize the above instrument functions, and together with the TLA series of course experiment kits, it can completely realize the application of in-class experiments in engineering education engineering main courses.

DAQWare software functions cover TLA-001 Principles of Circuits course lab suite, TLA-002 Analog Circuits course lab suite, TLA-003 Digital Circuits course lab suite, TLA-004 Sensors course lab suite, TLA-005 Signals and Systems course lab suite, and TLA-007 Principles of Automatic Control course, as shown in Table 1.

General-purpose function of the data acquisition card generally have analog signal input (Analog Input), analog signal output (Analog Output), GPIO (through the digital signal input and output) and other IO functions, and some also have timer and counter function IO.

Commonly used test and measurement instruments in the laboratory based on the secondary development of the above basic IO functions, can realize the oscilloscope (ADC), function signal generator (DAC), programmable power supply (DAC), baud plotter (DAC + ADC), dynamic signal analyzer (ADC), and other instrument functions.

The DAQWare general experiment software developed by TLA, based on the above ideas, realizes the adaptation of general IO functions to the virtual instrument platforms of major classic data acquisition card manufacturers. It covers the functions of common experimental instruments mentioned above and perfectly supports the application of specific experimental projects of TLA series of course experimental kits. In view of the characteristics of data acquisition cards of different virtual instrument manufacturers, the operation logic of DAQWare software has been optimized in detail to unify the operation logic of each virtual instrument platform manufacturer as much as possible.
